On Saturday we had a nice 8 hour drive up to Montreal from Long Island.  Craig had a migraine so we had to pull over regularly so he could throw up.  We arrived some time in the afternoon and Craig stayed in the hotel room while Kenny and JJ went to some sports thing and I walked down a popular shopping area and checked out some stores.  Afterwards I met up with Kenny and JJ and we hit the famous Peel's Pub for some grub and some of their specialty shots.  They have a whole menu dedicated to shots and of course Kenny chose the blow job.  For the meal I had some French food.  I forgot the name, but it was French fries with bits of cheese covered in gravy.  It was good.  Next we took a cab ride up to the top of Mont Royal.  Mont Royal is a small mountain right in the middle of Montreal.  That's where Montreal got its name from.  So we watched the sunset over the city from the top of the mountain and then realized we had no ride back down.  So we walked all the way down the mountain and took a taxi back to the hotel.  On Saturday we all split up.  Craig stayed in the hotel, Kenny and JJ went to some sports event, and I went to Vieux-Montreal which is the old part of the city by the water.  First stop was a French restaurant where I had French fries of course with some dipping sauce similar to Big Mac sauce.  Also had chicken with some white sauce and a flaky biscuit.  French food is good, but Mexican is better.  By this point I was buzzed from the white wine I was drinking so I went down to the area by the water and hung out for a bit.  All the roads around this part of town were made of cobblestone.  Next I walked back towards town and took some pictures of the skyline.  Next stop was Montreal's museum of modern art.  They had some interesting exhibits on Native Americans and Cuba.  They also had a really cool picture of the desert in the southwest.  After I got back to the hotel we all regrouped and headed over to Casino de Montreal.  All the cheap blackjack tables were taken so I played one hand at the $25 table and got 2 8's.  I split them, got another 8, split it again, and wound up with 3 mediocre hands and $75 on the table against the dealer's 10.  It looked like I was going to lose all my money on the first hand, but the dealer busted and I made $75!  I took the money and ran.  Sunday morning we took the long ride home.
